Hattaway’s On Alder

Offers a Southern-influenced menu inspired by the local ingredients of the Pacific Northwest with hearty favorites like Chicken and Grits and Crispy Sticky Ribs. Open 4 PM - 8 PM on weekdays; 4 PM - 9 PM on weekends—reservations are welcome!

Walla Walla Steak Company

A high-end steakhouse that serves top-quality cuts paired with your choice of sides and wine—perfect for romantic dates and special occasions. Open 4 PM - 9 PM, Thursdays to Thursdays; 4 PM - 10 PM, Fridays-Saturdays—reservations may be booked through their website.

AK's Mercado

Founded by Chef Andrae Bopp, this legendary restaurant has a loyal following among local winemakers, tastemakers, and tourists. Open 11 AM - 9 PM, Mondays and Thursdays; 11 AM - 10 PM, Fridays; and 8 AM - 10 PM Saturdays; and 8 AM - 9 PM Sundays (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Full lunch and dinner menus plus a weekend brunch menu are available.

Activities

Blue Mountain Lavender Farm

A family-owned farm open to the public for lavender season in the early summer. Highlights include being able to pick your own lavender to take home and The Farm Boutique which features artisanal goods including essential oils and dried bouquets.

Hiking

Walla Walla is home to many world-class hiking trails with hikes for all skill and fitness levels. Bennington Lake is just 5 miles away from downtown and links to Mill Creek. Between the two destinations, there are over 20 miles of trails to discover.

Spring Valley Vineyard

Situated twelve miles northeast of Walla Walla, this prestigious winery is known for producing high-quality wines from their estate vineyards. The tasting room is open for inside and outside wine tastings by advanced reservation daily.
