Located near Belton Lake, the area offers a variety of recreational activities. Visitors can enjoy boating, fishing, and swimming in the lake's clear waters. The nearby Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA) provides hiking and biking trails suitable for all skill levels, as well as horseback riding opportunities. For nature enthusiasts, the Miller Springs Nature Area features trails along the Leon River, a restored historic bridge, and several wildlife-viewing points. Additionally, the city of Belton offers attractions such as the Bell County Museum, which showcases local history and culture.

Miller's Smokehouse

A beloved BBQ destination, they serve perfectly smoked meats like brisket, ribs, and sausage alongside delicious sides like mac and cheese. With craft beers and live music on weekends, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a hearty meal in a welcoming atmosphere. Open 7:30 AM to 3 PM Sunday to Wednesday, 7:30 AM to 8 PM Thursday to Saturday.

Fire Street Pizza

A family-friendly dining spot, they specialize in wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizzas made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Featuring outdoor games, a playground, and live music, it’s an ideal choice for a fun and relaxing outing. Open 5 PM to 9 PM Thursday to Friday, 12 PM to 9 PM Saturday to Sunday; closed Monday to Wednesday.

Narunya's

An authentic Thai dining experience, they serve vibrant dishes like curries, stir-fries, and noodle plates made with fresh ingredients. Guests love the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and signature dishes like Pad Thai and spicy basil stir-fry. Open 11 AM to 9 PM daily.

Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA)

The BLORA offers a variety of outdoor activities for all ages, including fishing, boating, and swimming at Sierra Beach. Visitors can also explore hiking and mountain biking trails, enjoy paintball courses, or stay overnight at RV and tent camping sites. Open dawn to dusk daily.

Bell County Museum

A captivating look into the region's history through exhibits showcasing local artifacts, Native American heritage, and the Chisholm Trail. Interactive displays and educational programs make it an engaging destination for all ages. Open 12 PM to 5 PM Tuesday to Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM Saturday; closed Sunday to Monday.

Freedom Boat Rentals on Belton Lake

A premier boating experience on Belton Lake, they offer pontoons with stereo systems, Bimini tops, and safety gear for a day of fun on the water. With options like tubing and relaxing on lily pads, their friendly staff ensures a memorable adventure for families and groups. Open 10:30 AM to 7 PM daily.
