Located midway up a small mountain, Wander Flathead Lake offers not only spectacular scenery but also convenient access to the best of Montana’s outdoor adventures. Explore the crystal-clear waters of Flathead Lake with boating, fishing, or kayaking, or take a hike through nearby Glacier National Park, just a short drive away. The area also boasts charming local shops, restaurants, and wineries, making it an ideal destination for a family getaway or a peaceful retreat.

Fine dining with beautiful views

Mercantile Steak

A charming steakhouse located in the historic KM Building in downtown Kalispell. The restaurant features original Tiffany-style lamps, stained glass windows, and a copper-tinned ceiling that echoes its rich heritage, plus a menu showcasing top-grade aged beef, fresh seafood, and daily specials. Reservations may be booked via call or OpenTable. Open 5 PM - 9 PM, Tuesday-Saturday; closed Sunday and Monday.

Freestone Restaurant

A Montana-style fine dining experience with a menu highlighting locally inspired dishes, including expertly prepared steaks and fresh seafood. The completely renovated restaurant and bar feature award-winning dishes crafted by executive chef Jeans Matheros, a private dining room for special occasions, and carefully curated drink selections. Reservations may be booked through OpenTable. Open 5 PM - 9 PM, Monday-Saturday; closed Sunday.

Schafer's Restaurant

A casual fine dining experience featuring New American cuisine at the Eagle Bend Golf Club. Guests can enjoy appetizers like the shrimp cocktail and calamari, entrées like the miso-glazed king salmon and 12oz Manhattan New York steak, and more. Reservations may be booked through OpenTable. Open 11 AM - 2 PM and 5 PM - 9 PM daily.

Westslope Helicopters

The premier helicopter tour agency in Kalispell, offering breathtaking aerial views of the stunning Flathead Valley and surrounding landscapes. Guests can choose from a variety of tour options, ranging from 30-minute scenic flights to more extensive excursions that showcase Glacier National Park and the Rocky Mountains. Bookings may be made through their website. Open 10 AM - 8 PM daily.

Flathead Lake Boat Tours

An agency offering a variety of boat tours, including scenic cruises, sunset excursions, and private charters. The tours led by knowledgeable guides provide breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and wildlife, making it a perfect outing for families, couples, or groups. Online bookings are highly encouraged. Open 10 AM - 8 PM daily (boat tour schedule varies).

Conrad Mansion Museum

A beautifully restored historic home built in 1895, showcasing the unique lifestyle of pioneer living in the Pacific Northwest. Guided tours led by staff in period dress allow visitors to explore the mansion's 23 rooms, each filled with original furnishings and rich history. More information on visits can be found on their website. Open 10AM-4PM Monday-Sunday (Hours vary seasonally)
