Jackalope's Bar and Grill

A lively casual bar and grill nestled in Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite. Serves classic American fare like burgers, sandwiches, and hearty appetizers. Open 6 AM - 10:30 PM daily.

Ducey’s on the Lake

A waterfront restaurant right by Bass Lake featuring Californian flavors made from farm-to-table ingredients. Guests can enjoy both indoor and outdoor dining options, along with a selection of craft beers and wines. Open 7 AM - 11 AM, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM on weekdays; 7 AM - 12 PM, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM on weekends.

Oakhurst Grill and Whiskey 41 Lounge

A casual dining venue that sizzling steaks, burgers, fries, and other Southern-inspired staples. The adjacent whiskey lounge offers an extensive selection of whiskeys and craft cocktails. Open 4 PM - 9 PM daily.

Elderberry House

A premium dining establishment with French-Californian options such as duck confit, wild mushroom risotto, and more. Also includes vast wine options. Open 5 PM - 8 PM daily.

South Gate Brewing Company

A local brewery and restaurant, South Gate offers craft brews and comfort food favorites, from pizzas to salads. Ideal for a casual atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Open 12 PM - 8:30 PM Mondays through Thursdays; 12 PM - 9 PM Fridays; 11 AM - 9 PM Saturdays; 11 AM - 8:30 PM Sundays.

Yosemite National Park

From May to August, all Yosemite entrances require a peak-hours reservation—except Hetch Hetchy, which is open daily from sunrise to sunset without one. Expect delays on busy weekends. Entry fees still apply.

How do I book?
Reservations for May–August visits open in early May at 8 am on recreation.gov. Additional spots are released 7 days before each arrival date. Log in early—reservations often sell out within minutes.

Sentinel & Cook's Meadow Loop

A gentle hike ideal for newcomers and hikers of all skill levels. With well-maintained trails, visitors can enjoy wildflowers in the spring and serene meadows year-round. Leashed dogs are welcome. Open year-round; access varies by weather conditions.

Mirror Lake Loop

A relaxing hiking and running trail with a relatively flat path that stretches approximately 2 miles long. Visitors can enjoy peaceful reflections in the lake, especially in spring when water levels are higher. Open year-round.

Sentinel Dome and Taft Point Loop

A popular hiking trail, this 5.1 mile-loop offers stunning views of Yosemite Valley, El Capitan, and Half Dome. The trek is on the more challenging side, featuring open granite terrains. Pets are not allowed here. Open year-round with varying conditions throughout seasons.

Lower Yosemite Falls

A national landmark featuring a 1.2-mile loop trail, this waterfall is one of the most accessible attractions in Yosemite National Park. Dogs on leashes are welcome. Open year-round; however, expect wetter conditions during spring and early summer, a drier climate around July to October, and icy conditions in some areas during the winter.

Upper Yosemite Falls

A challenging yet breathtaking 6.6 mile out-and-back trail that showcases panoramic vistas of Yosemite Valley. Also allows visitors the unique opportunity to capture both Yosemite Falls and Half Dome within a single frame. Open year-round; trail conditions vary by season.
