How to Use the Fireplace at Wander Yellowstone Valley
Have a cozy and warm day by the fire!
This blog is to help you operate the fire pit at Wander Yellowstone Valley so you may enjoy all the lux amenities during your stay. If you're ready, let's get to it!
Time to start the fire
You've got a cozy gas brick fireplace right there in your living room.
To get things started, open the flue to ensure proper ventilation. There are 3 of them to keep an eye on - one at the top of the fireplace and two on the sides.
To turn on the gas, there's a knob in the vertical storage area to the right of the fireplace. If the key is VERTICAL, it means it is ON. Meanwhile, a HORIZONTAL key means it's OFF.
To start the fire, use the remote control that says Heat&Glo.
Press the MODE button on the remote to turn the fire on and off. Once you set the remote to on, you should hear a beep and then a clicking noise which is the igniter trying to light. It will time out after a minute. You might have to do this 2-3 times as the gas takes time to fill the line.
To turn it off, press the MODE button again and wait for the beep.
Reminders
Please NEVER set the remote to OFF THERMO
Lastly, the real firewood to the right of the fireplace is simply for decoration. Please avoid touching them
Basic Troubleshooting
Why isn't the fire starting? If this happens, you might have to repeat the steps a couple of times as the gas takes time to fill the line.
