How to Use the Treadmill at Wander Tahoe Slopes

Tips before you put in the work

At Wander, your safety and health go first. Before you hit the treadmill, make sure you have these things sorted out:

  • It is essential to stay hydrated, especially when exercising. Drinking water at least 90 minutes before a strenuous run can help improve your endurance.

  • Use safety features: most treadmills have safety features such as an emergency stop button or a safety key. Familiarize yourself with these features and know how to use them in case of an emergency.

  • Make sure that you stretch those muscles to avoid any injuries or accidents.

  • If you experience dizziness, shortness of breath, or chest pain while using the treadmill, stop exercising immediately and seek medical assistance if necessary.

  • Check around and ensure that no objects nearby may hinder you or the treadmill's movement.

Ready to put in some steps?

To start your trailing adventure, first things first, safety. Your treadmill will not start unless the safety key is placed in the proper location of the treadmill console.

It's essential to attach the safety key clip to your clothing to ensure a secure connection. In case of an emergency, simply remove the safety key to immediately cut off power to the console and bring the treadmill to a stop.

Once the situation is resolved, reinsert the safety key, and the treadmill will seamlessly resume in idle mode. Remember to position yourself on the side rails before starting the treadmill for a safe and smooth workout.

Adjusting the incline and speed of the treadmill is a breeze. Utilize the controls located on both sides of the console, as illustrated in the image above. This allows you to effortlessly customize your workout experience to your desired incline and speed settings.
