How to Use the Hot Tub at Wander Surfside Beach

Before getting into the hot tub at Wander Surfside Beach, we recommend rinsing off to get rid of sand and to make the experience more sanitary for yourself and the rest of your group. Once that's done, feel free to get into the hot tub and control it with these easy steps.

How to find the temperature controls

There is a small dial in a brown box, low to the ground, located on the other side of the fence in the garage. From there, you should be able to navigate through the menus to adjust the temperature.

Inside the box is a small dial with a color-coded hot-to-cold gauge.

Red =heat, blue=cold.

From there, you should be able to navigate through the menus to adjust the temperature.

Please note, though, that the max temperature is around 103 degrees. Ambient temperature may also affect how hot it gets.

How to turn on the jets

Head over to the post beside the hot tub, and you will find the timer to activate the jets. You can set it to a maximum of 15 minutes at a time.

Hot tub cleaning and maintenance

We regularly service the hot tub's water between guests' turnovers to ensure it remains clean and healthy. This includes chemical balancing (chlorine/bromine and other chemicals), skimming, vacuuming, and tub brushing & filter cleaning as required. Rinsing off before you go to the hot tub could also help us clear the water of impurities for you and your crew! 

If the water seems cloudy or murky, nothing to worry about! Once you switch the hot tub on, the pumps and filters will activate, and with the help of sanitizing agents, it will clear the water up!
