Please take care when operating the fireplace at Wander Stowe Woods as the glass is hot when in operation!

How to use the fireplace:

  • Use metal tool and oven glove to open glass.
    When burning, suction can develop and the glass may be difficult to lift.

  • Always burn with glass closed.
    Flue is open when silver pull is out and closed when pushed in.

  • Additional wood is located behind the garage.

  • For circulation of wood heat, switch heating fan to 'circulation mode" on the thermostat in the entryway.
