Your quick and easy guide on how to use the grill

Who said outdoor dining only means trying out restos in town? A perfect way to top off your trip is by cooking hearty meals for you and your crew. Plus, it's a great way to bond with family and friends over a shared love for good food!

At Wander, we have all the essentials for you whether you're a grilling rookie or a seasoned pro. So fire up the grill and get ready for some tasty vacation memories at Wander Ponte Vedra!

Safety precautions

For a memorable grilling experience, safety must come first! Ensure that children and pets are kept far away from the grill, and never leave the grill unattended while cooking.

Also, avoid placing flammable materials on the grill that could potentially catch fire, such as gasoline, debris, wood, etc. Remember these tips to make grilling as safe and enjoyable as possible!

How to turn on/off the grill

You can find the grill inside the closet on the second-floor balcony –  feel free to move it around while hosting an evening of grilling during your vacation!

To get started, open the lid before igniting the grill’s burners. Turn the gas knob to the flame level you like. Then, press and hold that ignitor button (it's on the left side of the grill panel) to light up the flame.

When you're done, turn the gas dial to the off position. Then, to avoid gas wastage, please turn off the gas or disconnect the quick-connect hose on the grill after use.

Word of caution: Saltwater can quickly destroy and rust the grill, so be sure to put the cover back on and move it into the closet once you're finished using it.

Troubleshooting steps

If the ignitor button is not functioning, you can turn the gas dials and manually light them using a grill lighter. The grill lighter and tools are inside the kitchen island drawer on the right.
