How to Use the Treadmill at Wander Palomar Mountain

 At Wander, we believe in the power of vacations to relax and rejuvenate. But that doesn't mean you have to give up on your fitness goals. Our homes are equipped with essential gym amenities, like the treadmill you're about to use.

With Wander, you can have it all - relaxation and a commitment to your well-being. Let's make this journey extraordinary! Follow along as we share some tips on using the treadmill at Wander Palomar Mountain.

Tips before you put in the work

At Wander, your safety and health go first. Before you hit the treadmill, make sure you have these things sorted out:

  • It is essential to stay hydrated, especially when exercising. Drinking water at least 90 minutes before a strenuous run can help improve your endurance.

  • Use safety features: most treadmills have safety features such as an emergency stop button or a safety key. Familiarize yourself with these features and know how to use them in case of an emergency.

  • Make sure that you stretch those muscles to avoid any injuries or accidents.

  • If you experience dizziness, shortness of breath, or chest pain while using the treadmill, stop exercising immediately and seek medical assistance if necessary.

  • Check around and ensure that no objects nearby may hinder you or the treadmill's movement.

Ready to put in some steps?

To start your trailing adventure, you can simply press the “Go” button to try the workouts suggested by the equipment, or the “Quick Start” one to manually control the fitness routine, starting out with the intensity settings at their lowest levels.

Then, simply adjust the settings to produce the workout profile you want. Please, position yourself on the side rails of the machine and securely fasten the safety key clip to your clothes. After the console has displayed its countdown and the belt has started to move, step onto the belt.

If by any chance you need to end your workout early, you can press the “Stop” switch below the console three times, or on the console screen, touch “Pause”, then “Finish”, and then “Home”. You might also want to adjust the incline angle of the treadmill and the speed of the belt by using the motion controls:

Exploring your options

Fitness programs tailored to your goals are conveniently accessible through section 2 of the console. Stay on top of your workout intensity by monitoring it in section 3, where the level indicator displays both incline angle and speed.

Additionally, section 5 offers playback controls for easy track navigation and volume adjustment on your Apple device. Stay motivated and in control with these console features.
