How to Use the Treadmill at Wander Orford Cliffs

Taking a vacation is an excellent way to relax and unwind, but it doesn't mean you have to put your fitness goals on hold. At Wander, we understand the importance of staying active and keeping up with your fitness regimen no matter where you are. That’s why we made sure that our homes have the essential gym amenities so you can stay on track.

Keeping up with your training routine is made easier with the Treadmill, which is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after machines for cardio workouts. And one of the best things about it is that you won't have to brave the cold or harsh heat outside to get a fulfilling workout session. 

Follow along as we share some tips on using the treadmill so you can stay fit and healthy while staying at Wander Orford Cliffs.

Tips before you put in the work

Pre-workout prep is just as important as the hard work you put into your workout. So before you hit the treadmill, make sure you have these things sorted out:

  1. It is important to stay hydrated, especially when exercising. Drinking water at least 90 minutes before a strenuous run can help improve your endurance.

  2. Wear the right shoes based on your size and needs.

  3. Make sure that you stretch those muscles to avoid any injuries or accidents.

  4. Be familiar with the treadmill you plan to use to utilize its features fully.

  5. Check around and ensure that no objects nearby may hinder you or the treadmill's movement.

If you head to the right side of the parking area, you'll find the fitness center where the treadmill is located.

Manual Workout

First, position yourself on the side rails of the machine and securely fasten the safety key clip to your clothes and insert the safety key into the designated keyhole for added safety measures. For a quick and relaxed warm-up or run, you can simply press the START button to start the treadmill. The console displays time, distance, and calories burned in real-time, so you know when you've met your daily goals!

Training Program

Fitness programs/targets are available based on your goals, such as High Climb and Fat Burn. To get started, use the knob located in the center of the console to update your user information, weight, and program selection. Once you've made your selections, click on START, and you're all set!

To better plan your workout routine and know which suits your needs, check out the user manual and the list of programs to choose from.

Once your workout program has finished, a beep will sound to signal its completion – well done! The console will display your workout information for 30 seconds before it resets, so watch for that. 

Note: If you wish to reset or restart at any point, simply hold the STOP button for 3 seconds, and you’re good to go!
