How to Control the Temperature at Wander Orford Cliffs

This blog is to help you adjust the temperature at Wander Orford Cliffs so you’re nice and comfy throughout your stay. Without further ado, let's get to it!

The controls, both heating and air conditioning are available and can be accessed from the Wander app. They can also be physically accessed in the closet behind the guest bedroom where they can be manually controlled.

There are only two Ecobee thermostats, one for each bedroom. Because the house is divided in half equally, each ecobee will control one side of the home. This means if you adjust the temperature for either or both sides the temperature change will also take effect in the living room.

To operate the thermostat, hold onto the temperature displayed in the circle on the right side of the display and drag it up/down to your desired temperature setting.

You can move through the temp range orange (hottest temperature) or blue (coldest temperature). To turn off the thermostat, press three horizontal lines on the bottom left side of the screen. Navigate to “system” and then select "HVAC Mode" followed by “off.” 

Please ensure all doors and windows are kept closed while the AC runs. If the cooling stops working unexpectedly, it may be due to the unit freezing over. Please try turning it off for 45 minutes so that it can defrost properly.
