Before hopping into the hot tub, remember to rinse off the sand to keep the hot tub clean for you and your guests. Here are instructions on how to use the hot tub at Wander Malibu Beach!
How to access the controls
The controls and screen display can be accessed by popping open the panel on the left side of the tub. You may invert the display by pushing the time and up buttons at the same time.
How to turn on the jets
Press the Jet 1 and Jet 2 buttons once to activate the low speed of the pumps, and press again for the high speed. Pressing a Jet button a third time will turn off the pump and cause the indicator light to switch off.
If you want to get some air circulation going in the seats and footwell, the air jets can be turned on by pressing the Blower button. And don't worry about forgetting to turn the pumps or bubbles off — the automatic timer will do that for you after 30 minutes.
How to change the temperature
The temperature can be set by pushing either the up or down buttons once, which will cause the temperature on the screen to flash. Then, use the up and down buttons to set your new desired temperature. Note that the hot tub will take some time to heat up to your desired temp.
How to turn on the lights
Press the light button once to turn on the lights. Press a second time to turn the light off. Any additional presses will turn the lights back on but with different colors.
Hot tub cleaning and maintenance
We regularly service the hot tub's water between guests' turnovers to ensure it remains clean and healthy. This includes chemical balancing (chlorine/bromine and other chemicals), skimming, vacuuming, and tub brushing & filter cleaning as required. Rinsing off before you go to the hot tub could also help us clear the water of impurities for you and your crew!
If the water seems cloudy or murky, nothing to worry about! Once you switch the hot tub on, the pumps and filters will activate, and with the help of sanitizing agents, it will clear the water up!
