How to operate the dishwasher
Let's get your dishwasher up and running! To add detergent, follow these simple steps:
Press the opening catch on the detergent dispenser. The flap will open up.
Don't worry, the flap stays open after the program ends.
Add the necessary amount of detergent.
Close the flap securely.
Important tip! After using the detergent, make sure to properly seal the packaging to prevent moisture and clumping.
Turning on the dishwasher:
Check if the water supply is turned off, and if so, please turn it on.
Open the dishwasher door.
Ensure that the spray arms are free from any obstructions.
Press the power button to turn on the dishwasher.
Selecting the program:
Pick the program that suits your load and how dirty it is. Check out the Program Overview chapter for detailed descriptions.
Use the program selection button (represented by a symbol) to select your desired program.
Look for the indicator light to light up, confirming your chosen program.
The display will show the program duration in hours and minutes, so you'll know how long it will take. You'll see the indicator light next to the selected program come on.
Starting the program:
To begin the program, simply close the door within four seconds after the last button press.
Once the door is closed, the program will kick off and get underway.
A quick tip: If you happen to miss the four-second window, don't worry! In that case, the indicator lights of the selected program and the time display will flash. Simply press the program selection button and close the door within four seconds to start the program.
Important note:
Please note that it's generally best to avoid canceling a program unless it's within the first few minutes. Canceling later could skip important stages of the program.
Program completion:
When the program is finished, you'll hear a friendly buzzer sound. Keep the door closed during this time. Now, you can go ahead and open the door to unload your sparkling clean dishes.
How to use the sink disposal
Start with cold water: Before turning on the sink disposal, run cold water through the sink. This helps keep the disposal cool during operation.
Clear the sink: Make sure the sink is clear of any large food scraps or debris that could cause clogs or damage to the disposal.
Turn on the water: Once the sink is clear, turn on the cold water to a moderate flow.
Start the disposal: With the water running, turn on the sink disposal.
Feed the food scraps: Gradually feed small amounts of food scraps into the disposal. Avoid overloading it with a large quantity of food at once, as this can cause clogs or strain the motor.
Allow the disposal to finish: After you have fed all the food scraps into the disposal, let it run for a few extra seconds to ensure all the waste is properly ground up and flushed away.
Turn off the disposal: Once the disposal has finished grinding the food scraps, turn off the unit. Allow the water to run for a few more seconds to help flush away any remaining waste.
Rinse and clean: After turning off the disposal, continue running the water for a few more seconds to rinse the sink and drain.
Remember to avoid putting non-food items, grease, oil, or fibrous materials (such as celery or corn husks) into the sink disposal, as they can cause clogs or damage to the unit.
