Safety precautions

For a memorable grilling experience, safety must come first! Ensure that children and pets are kept far away from the grill, and never leave the grill unattended while cooking.

Also, avoid placing flammable materials on the grill that could potentially catch fire, such as gasoline, debris, wood, etc. Remember these tips to make grilling as safe and enjoyable as possible!

How to turn on/off the grill

You could easily find the grill on the back balcony, next to the outdoor dining table – an ideal spot for hosting an evening of grilling during your vacation!

To get started with the grill, open the lid before igniting the grill’s burners. Depress and turn the gas knob for the back burners to the "High" position. As you start turning the valve up to "High," you'll feel it resist a bit more. That is the spring inside the valve builds up energy to create the spark. Once you hear a click, the igniter has fired the spark for the burner for you.

Remember, turn the knob at a moderate speed to allow gas to travel through the manifold and valve into the burner, which will meet the igniter's spark. Do not turn the knob too slowly to avoid gas build-up and large flashes when ignited.

It's important to note that turning the knob near the ignitor won't start the grill. Finally, when you're done, simply turn the gas dial to the off position.

Troubleshooting steps

If the grill is not turning on, you can check and turn the knobs to see if the gas is on or off. If gas has run out, you could use the 100-gallon propane tanks to the left of the driveway, right next to the garage.
