How to Use the Pool and Hot Tub at Wander Calistoga Valley

Here’s a quick and easy guide to using the pool & hot tub at Wander Calistoga Valley!

Picture yourself taking a refreshing dip in the desert pool—a delightful escape from the heat. Immerse yourself in the serene embrace of nature as you enjoy a warm swim at Wander Calistoga Valley!

When it comes to enjoying our pool and hot tub, there are a few important details to remember. The pool is set to a maximum temperature of 84°F, providing a refreshing and comfortable swimming experience. On the other hand, the hot tub can be set to a toasty 104°F for a truly relaxing soak.

It's important to note that the maximum temperature cannot be set simultaneously for both the hot tub and the pool.

Pool Cover

There is an outdoor wall switch that requires a key to operate. To open it, turn the switch to the left. Be sure to keep holding the switch until the cover is fully open or closed.

To close the cover, turn the switch to the right. Note to keep the pool closed at night and when not in use to keep it clean and warm.

Reminder: Please do not close the pool cover when it's raining, as water can accumulate on top and damage the motor when opening.

Turn up the heat

Make sure to download the IntelliCenter2 app from the App Store or use the web version. Just ping the Concierge team to get the login details.

To Heat the Pool

  1. Toggle the switch to turn on the pool heater.

  2. A flame icon should appear, indicating the heater is working.

  3. Make sure the Spa heater toggle is turned off.

It would take time for the pool to heat up, but in 20-30 minutes, the pool water should be all warm and ready.

If you notice the water from the spa is overflowing into the pool, that's a fantastic physical indicator that the water is heating up. It's a sign that the pool and spa experience are at the perfect temperature for your enjoyment.

To Heat the Hot Tub

  1. Toggle the switch to turn on the spa heater.

  2. A flame icon should appear, indicating the heater is working.

  3. Make sure the pool heater toggle is turned off.

Cleaning and Maintenance

We regularly service the pool and hot tub's water between guests' turnovers to ensure it remains clean and healthy. This includes chemical balancing (chlorine/bromine and other chemicals), skimming, vacuuming, and pool brushing & filter cleaning as required. Rinsing off before you go to the pool could also help us clear the water of impurities for you and your crew!

If the water seems cloudy or murky, nothing to worry about! Once you switch the hot tub on, the pumps and filters will activate, and with the help of sanitizing agents, it will clear the water up!

Reminder

Please note that at Wander, we love welcoming your furry family members just as much as we love hosting you. While all our Wander homes are pet-friendly, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing your pets into the pool or hot tub area.

Rest assured that your beloved companions are more than welcome to accompany you in our delightful garden as you take a plunge into the breathtaking pool at Calistoga Valley.
