How to Use the Fire Pit and Fireplace at Wander Big Sur Point
Have a cozy and warm day by the fire!
Imagine an evening of fun, enjoying s'mores and cozying up in front of the fire. Moments like these make your getaway unforgettable.
Learn how to create lasting memories and warm up your nights with Wander Big Sur Point's fire pit and fireplace.
Main House Fireplace
The living room wood-burning fireplace is the main source of heat for the home. You may find more firewood on the north side of the garage and use it for the fireplace.
To operate, simply build a fire with provided paper and kindling adding one or two logs at first. The metal tab at the bottom of the fireplace must be pulled fully out for the flue to be open and can be pushed halfway in once the fire gets going.
Master Bedroom Fireplace
To keep the bedroom warm and cozy, enjoy this stone gas fireplace using the remote you can find on the nightstand. In case you need help relighting the pilot, feel free to contact the Concierge team for assistance.
Outdoor Fire Pit
Located near the amphitheater, this is the perfect spot to chill out with friends and family at night. This outdoor fire pit is gas-powered, so it's such a breeze to operate.
Make sure to turn the key on the ground next to it and light the pit with a grill lighter. We have one ready for you and you should find it in the drawer next to the stove.
Note: Since it's gas-powered, using or burning wood or any material is strictly prohibited.
If you’re still having any trouble, Wander’s 24/7 Concierge team is available through the in-app chat to help with anything you need!
