How to Use the Treadmill at Wander Anchor Bay

Tips before you put in the work

At Wander, your safety and health go first. Before you hit the treadmill, make sure you have these things sorted out:

  • It is essential to stay hydrated, especially when exercising. Drinking water at least 90 minutes before a strenuous run can help improve your endurance.

  • Use safety features: most treadmills have safety features such as an emergency stop button or a safety key. Familiarize yourself with these features and know how to use them in case of an emergency.

  • Make sure that you stretch those muscles to avoid any injuries or accidents.

  • If you experience dizziness, shortness of breath, or chest pain while using the treadmill, stop exercising immediately and seek medical assistance if necessary.

  • Check around and ensure that no objects nearby may hinder you or the treadmill's movement.

Ready to put in some steps on the 3G Cardio treadmill?

To start your trailing adventure, you can simply press the “Start” button to turn the treadmill on. The display will count down from 3 to 1 and you’ll see the belt start moving at the slowest speed. You may also use the “Speed +/-” or the “Incline +/-” buttons to adjust the treadmill to your liking.

The treadmill also offers various modes to suit your preferences. In manual mode, you have complete control over the speed and incline. To set it up, just press the "Manual" button and use the "Set +-" button to adjust the workout time. Press "Enter" to confirm. Next, use "Set +-" again to customize your age, weight, speed, and starting incline. Press "Enter" after each adjustment. Finally, hit "Start" to begin your personalized routine.

If you prefer a predefined program, the "Course" mode is an excellent choice. Press the "Course" button and use "Set +-" to select a program. Once you've made your selection, press "Enter". You can then adjust the starting level, weight, and age using "Set +-" and confirm by pressing "Enter". To initiate the program, simply press "Start" and prepare for an engaging workout experience.

Not interested in the previous options? The "Goal" program might be the ideal fit for you. Press the "Goal" button and use "Set +-" and "Enter" to adjust your workout goal based on time, target distance, or target calories. Press "Enter" to confirm. Next, customize your age, weight, starting speed, and incline using the same process. Once you're ready, press "Start" to begin your fitness journey.

Ready to put in some steps on the Nordictrack treadmill?

To start your trailing adventure, simply press the “Start” button, the “Speed” increase button, or one of the “Speed” buttons numbered 1 through 10. Please note that every time you press one of the speed decrease or increase buttons, the speed setting will change by 0.1 mph, while if you hold down the button, the speed setting will change in increments of 0.5 mph.

When you’re feeling tired from a good working out session, or simply want to stop for a little refresh, press the “Stop” button. The time will begin to flash on the display. To restart the walking belt, press the “Start” button or the “Speed” increase button. 

Changing the incline is also a breeze. Press the incline decrease or increase buttons or one of the numbered incline buttons. Please note that each time you press one of the buttons, the treadmill will gradually adjust to the selected setting.

The treadmill offers an array of features to suit your preferences. When using the “manual” mode, you can change the speed and incline of the treadmill to your liking. Or you may also choose any of the many on-board workouts, where each one will automatically control the speed and incline as it guides you through an effective exercise session.
