At Wander, we have the pleasure of hosting professionals in all kind of industries. However, sometimes we host some who are doing something spectacular. Jen Sarduy has dedicated her professional career to making a difference, and with her work with donorsofcolor.org, she is making a splash.
Donors of Color Network is the first-ever cross-racial community of donors of color—a home for donors committed to building the collective power of people of color to drive systems change and advance racial equity. Through strategic giving and radical imagination, they seek to empower individuals, organizations, and movements to increase the capacity of leaders from those communities to lead and shape the movements for racial equity in a meaningful way.
Their goal is to direct resources toward initiatives that expand opportunities for members of marginalized communities, create networks between philanthropic donors and grassroots organizations, build leadership within these communities, and foster collaboration among leaders who are invested in creating lasting social change. Donors of Color Network support projects that focus on essential activities such as research & evaluation, policy advocacy & movement building, communications & media outreach programs, legal services, training & technical assistance efforts.
We’ve had the pleasure of hosting Jen at Wander Surfside Beach, and with a trip to Wander Bandon Beach soon, we are honored to host professionals like Jen!
