The menu offers a variety of appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, and desserts. Mouthwatering choices include the lobster angelotti & shaved black truffle, the study of Mahoney and Irwin lamb, and the dark chocolate souffle. Reservations are highly recommended.
Chart House
Chart House is perched atop a hill near Kingsbury Grade overlooking Lake Tahoe. Its modern dining room offers diners an excellent view of its surroundings. It has been included on the Open Table list of 100 Restaurants with the Most Scenic Views.
The fare is primarily steak and seafood. They also offer daily specials and private dining. It’s best to reserve a table in advance.
Ciera Steak & Chophouse
The Ciera Steak & Chophouse is located in Bally’s Tahoe. It offers a variety of steaks, chops, seafood, and vegetarian entrees as well as 300 wines and champagnes. To top it off, it was also voted Tahoe’s Best Restaurant for Dinner and Tahoe’s Best Steakhouse.
The menu offers a wide variety of options including appetizers, greens, soups, sides seafood, steaks and chops, entrees, and desserts. They also have special 50 Prix Fixe and 60 Prix Fixe menus which are available Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights. These three-course dinner options offer Ciera favorites at a great price.
Riva Grill on the Lake
Riva Grill on the Lake is an indoor and outdoor restaurant serving lunch and dinner. It was voted as the Restaurant with the Best Cocktails by Best of Tahoe 2020. It was also recognized on the 2019 Open Table Diner’s Choice and voted as having the Best Outdoor Patio by Tahoe Quarterly.
Riva diners can choose from a variety of menus including the lunch and bar menu, the dinner menu, the wine list, the kids’ menu, the banquet menu, and a variety of cocktail menus. It offers a spacious upstairs dining room, comfortable main floor seating, and a large outdoor patio. You can enjoy views of the lake from any area of the establishment.
Wolfdale’s Cuisine Unique
Wolfdale’s is located on Lake Tahoe’s north shore in downtown Tahoe City. It is a family-run business that prides itself in providing consistent, high-quality food and service.
Chef and owner Douglas Dale developed a ‘Cuisine Unique’ that is described as a fusion of Asian, European, and California styles. The menu changes frequently but always follows the theme of “Fresh Food, Prepared Simply.” Most menu items are gluten-free.
The restaurant offers lake-view dining with a warm ambiance. During the summer, their deck and courtyard are open for outdoor dining. The courtyard is also an ideal space for private events and comes complete with fire pit tables and a bocce court.
Le Bistro
Le Bistro is located in Incline Village, one of the more upscale Lake Tahoe towns. It is a small fine dining restaurant that specializes in contemporary French fusion. Gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options are available.
The restaurant has an excellent wine list, fresh-baked bread, and desserts. Menu items include foie gras, duck, filet mignon, lamb, and fresh fish. You can make reservations on the website or by calling in advance.
Lone Eagle Grille
Lone Eagle Grille offers upscale dining set against the backdrop of Lake Tahoe and their private beach. Their menu features high-Sierra cuisine and changes seasonally in accordance with the freshest ingredients available. Their dishes include game meats, seafood, and vegetarian favorites as well as a variety of cocktails.
The Lone Eagle Lounge provides views of the surroundings via large panoramic windows set against heavy wooden beams. Its two-story stone fireplace and custom-made wooden tables conjure images of a classic Tahoe Lounge. The main dining room offers outdoor dining during the summer and table space for parties. Guests can also enjoy cocktails around their lakefront fire pit.
Jake’s on the Lake
Jake’s on the Lake offers the ultimate lakefront dining experience. The family-owned restaurant has been in business for over 40 years. Their menu is influenced by the tastes of Hawaii and Southern California.
The restaurant offers a variety of menus including a Happy Hour menu, a Lunch & Café menu, a Dinner menu, a Drinks and Cocktail menu, and a wine list. They also host banquet events. They pride themselves on offering top-notch customer service.
Christy Hill
Christy Hill is a modern American dining restaurant. It sits just 100 feet above the Lake Tahoe shoreline, featuring modern American cuisine with Mediterranean influences. Diners can enjoy a view of the Lake Tahoe basin from every table.
The menu features small plates, large plates, shared plates, and desserts. They also have an extensive wine list. During the summer, you can make reservations to dine at the SandBar Christy Hill which offers a full menu and wine service Wednesday through Sunday.
