The White House Tavern is more than just a casual restaurant: it’s considered an institution in Aspen! The property was constructed in 1883, originally intended as a miner’s cabin. It’s still one of the oldest structures in all of Aspen, but it’s now a cool tavern with a distinctive menu. 

The woody interiors add a warmth to the space and ambiance, which is so comforting during the winter! The sumptuous Honor Burger, Gulf Coast Style Fish Sandwich, and Crispy Chicken Sandwich are worth the travel. They also have amazing bar chow and sides, plus a well-stocked bar.

Tip: The White House Tavern is a casual dining spot, but they do have a dress code. Avoid wearing tank tops, flip flops, hats, and athletic attire.
