The 22+ mile Wallkill Valley Rail Trail conveniently links the neighboring towns of New Paltz, Gardiner, Rosendale, and Ulster to the city line of Kingston. You can ride a bike, jog, walk, or ride a horse. The dog-friendly picturesque trails take you through winding woodlands and an astonishing array of terrains all year round. It's completely free of charge, and open during sunlight hours.
