Ajax Tavern at The Little Nell is usually the first place that people think of when talking about après ski in Aspen. That’s how iconic this establishment has become through the years.

Situated at the base of the Aspen Highlands Mountain, this cozy venue has played host to fun parties as well as casual beers for skiers since 1958. It’s a favorite of the locals too: the relaxed, friendly atmosphere makes it easy to mingle with an eclectic crowd of both people and dogs. 

This ski-in, ski-out joint offers 16 beers on tap and dozens of whiskeys to choose from. Pair it with their mouthwatering hand-tossed pizzas, burgers, nachos, and mozz sticks.
